Who is eligible for Sunshine Life Solutions housing?
We serve individuals experiencing housing instability or homelessness, including veterans, seniors, and individuals re-entering from incarceration who can manage daily living with minimal assistance.
Do you serve veterans?
Veterans are welcome to inquire about our shared living housing. Contact us to discuss availability and whether our housing may be a fit.
Is there an age requirement?
Adults 18 and older.

Our Independent Living option offers shared housing with everyday amenities and 24/7 on-site management. Contact us to discuss the support available and whether it meets your needs.
Application & Move-In
How do I apply?
Call 210-802-8581 or email Info@sunshinelifesolutions.com to ask about availability and next steps. We can discuss costs, location, house expectations, and any screening or agreement required before moving in. We also accept referrals.
How long does the application process take?
The application timeline depends on housing availability and each person’s circumstances. Once eligibility is confirmed, we aim to move the process forward promptly.
What do I need to bring when I move in?
Our homes come furnished and equipped with bedding, toiletries, and kitchen essentials. Just bring your clothing and personal belongings.
Funding & Costs
How is this funded?
Funding comes from multiple sources, including state and county programs, SSI/SSDI contributions where applicable, private payments, and local agency partnerships. We work with each resident to determine their contribution based on their income and individual circumstances.
Do I need to pay rent?
Housing costs depend on the program and each resident’s circumstances. County partnerships or federal benefits may cover some programs, and private payment is also available. We work with residents to determine their contribution based on their income.
Can I use my SSI/SSDI benefits?
Yes, you can use your SSI or SSDI benefits to help pay for housing.
Length of Stay
How long can I stay?
We offer flexible stays based on each resident’s needs, from 30–90 days for transitional housing to longer-term supportive housing for as long as needed. We work with each resident to develop a personalized plan that supports their goals and next steps.
